Project RAD represents the joining together of the City of Riverside, Riverside Police Department, Riverside Sheriff Department, Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, Alvord Unified School District, and Riverside Unified School District. All of these agencies work together to provide the young people of Riverside the opportunity to live productive, drug free lives through dynamic and innovative prevention, intervention and suppression programs. Project RAD helps provide the drug prevention curriculum used in the schools, intervention groups on all secondary and some elementary school campuses, peer assistance leadership programs and School Resource Officers.
“The mission of Project RAD is to raise funds to educate Riverside’s youth about drug, alcohol, tobacco, and violence prevention. We support programs and activities that provide students with the skills and knowledge to achieve and maintain healthy, responsible lifestyles.”
